How to Reclaim Your Energy (and Keep It Flowing All Day)

If your energy’s been dipping lately — you’re not alone. Many women I work with say they wake up not feeling refreshed, or at the end of the day feeling wired but tired. When your energy is low, everything feels harder — stress hits deeper, motivation fades, and life can feel like you’re running on empty.

I’m obsessed with the subject matter of ENERGY! As it really is our currency of health.

And here’s something most people don’t realise: your energy is also your frequency.

Staying in low energy states for too long doesn’t just drain your mood — over time, it can affect your immune system, your hormones, and even your long-term health.

Imagine your energy like a jigsaw puzzle, if your energy is low there are jigsaw pieces missing. These pieces could be nutritional stress, emotional stress or trauma, it could be electrical stress (eg. From devices or blocked chakras/meridians) or structural bodily stress (eg. Injury, blocked lymphatics)

So the truth: your energy is so much more than how much sleep you got last night!

So let’s dive into 2 simple steps you can start today to  raise your energy on a daily basis — not through another quick fix, but through something that feeds your body and soul!

Step 1: Become Aware of Your Energy

Start by noticing — where would you rate your energy right now from 1–10?
Then, make two simple lists:

✅ What raises your energy (e.g. walking in nature, laughing with a friend, dancing, nourishing food, music, movement)
🚫 What drains it (e.g. negative self-talk, overworking, screen time, lack of rest, toxic environments)

Do more of the first list and less of the second — small steps matter.

Step 2: Feed Your Energy with a Forgotten Fuel — Ketones

You might have heard Dr. Mindy Pelz (my mentor and fasting educator) talk about how women’s bodies have two energy sources — glucose and ketones.

Most of us are stuck burning only glucose, which can cause energy crashes, mood dips, and weight gain — especially in perimenopause when insulin sensitivity drops.

But your body was designed to also burn ketones — a clean, efficient fuel made when you use fat for energy. According to Dr. Pelz’s research and clinical findings, ketones enhance mental clarity, energy stability, and focus, while reducing inflammation and supporting hormone balance.

The best way to encourage ketone production naturally?

🕗 Intermittent fasting.
Try fasting for 13–15 hours overnight — for example, finish dinner at 7 pm and have your first meal around 10 am.

When you do eat, break your fast with a savoury, nutrient-rich meal — my favourite is my Nutty Muesli Bowl (reply to this email if you’d like the recipe!)

✨ Bonus: Add MCT oil or powder to your morning coffee — it’s a direct brain fuel that enhances focus and energy.

Step 3: Connect to Expansive Energy

Energy isn’t just physical — it’s emotional and spiritual.
When you do things that expand you (creativity, connection, laughter, movement), your energy field literally changes.

Science calls this coherence — when your body, heart, and mind are aligned, you operate from higher frequency states of calm, clarity, and flow.

🌙A little Summary to Raise your Frequency, Naturally!:

  • Energy = vitality + alignment
  • Clear what drains it and feed what expands it
  • Support your body to use ketones for fuel
  • Create coherence daily through breath, movement, and joy
